this coming Sunday will be part two in this month's teaching series: Intimacy with God. If you did not hear the first teaching it is available on our church website (Calie if you could place the link here) The central example we are using for Intimacy with God is the institution of marriage. The reason for this is that marriage is God's choice in the Bible as His example of His desired relationship with us. There is little doubt that God's choice for marriage as this example is based upon the fact that marriage is the pinnacle of all human relationship. It is also an example that all of us are culturally familiar with. This past week we took a look at the beginning of relationship up and through the wedding. This week will deal with... when the honeymoon is over... when life doesn't go as planned... when there is relational conflict... when we face trials... when we disappoint ourselves and others. God through Christ has a plan for us in the midst of these times. Bring a friend along with you this coming sunday as we discover together... Intimacy with God.
